Nice to see that someone uploaded my video to YouTube, and couldn't keep the aspect ratio right :(

Really not "mine", more like NBC5's...but whatever.

I was hoping for more history stuff too...also thought it was funny that they have 20-somthing girls telling the 30 year old history of the park. I would like to see what hit the "cutting room floor" from this piece. I am sure there is all kinds of stuff that didn't make it to air that the...

Nice Picture RedfishPaw! Looking at the construction in the parking lot for the waterpark, I would say that it was taken in late September or early October. Again, thanks for sharing that. Was taken during Fright Fest....so it was taken in October...you can see the orange flag and gorilla on the to...

Great America "TM Productions"

Tom Merriman from TM Productions made / wrote a ton of the Marriott's Great America music and song materials. There was a time about 18 months ago when I was in contact with a guy that had some of the archives from TM Productions. He had located some works that were produced for Marriott, and they w...

Santa Clara Train...where is it now?

Gotta get back there for a race then! So, which train is faster, blue or red? Red used to "win" all the time. Last year the blue (which is running backwards) would outpace the red on the lifthill by an entire train lenght. All last season it was too close to call at the end with the blue ...

I don't remember calling out "stop at the top", but I do remember the coaster pausing at the top of the first drop. It was very exciting....I also remember riding the coaster backward on the track. It was a novelty for a while. I know they did this a lot for the 25th Anniversary in 2001. ...

American Eagle "STOP AT THE TOP!!"

Does anyone remember yelling at the AE Ride Ops to "Stop at the top...stop at the top"?! I remember when the ride first opened, and for several years after, they would stop the lift right as the train reached the top of the hill. About 2 seconds later you would start again and head down th...
